Motex Sales Up In 2009 Despite the most difficult economical times for several decades, Motex has experienced an increase in sales of our products and services including our EasiEst range and our Website Design & Development services.

www.racwa.com.au Motex are pleased to announce that RAC have renewed their contract, with Motex, to use EasiEst as their claims booking and repair management system.

EasiEst is currently running at four RAC sites and there are plans to extend this useage considerably during 2009.

www.MotexClaimMonitor.co.uk is an online motor claims progress website, where claim principals can login and check the current status of vehicle inspections carried out by independent insurance assessors. Additionally, downloading a copy of a case report, authority letter, fee invoice, or any other relevant claim documentation is also available.

Inspection progress is automatically and autonomously uploaded, to www.MotexClaimMonitor.co.uk, from our Motex EasiEst EMS system as used by the independent assessors, meaning the principals can receive up-to-the-minute progress reports 24/7.

New functionality has been recently added to EasiEst, which allows the user to send SMS text messages to any mobile phone.

Standard text messages can be compiled to negate the need to re-key commonly sent messages or free text messages are also available. Mobile telephone numbers are retrieved from EasiEst's own files, further reducing the amount of keyboard activity.

Where available, confirmation messages are received back from the SMS broadcaster to confirm the SMS text message has been received and a historical log of sent messages is retained within EasiEst.

Subscription to this functionality requires a nominal setup fee and a charge per SMS text message sent.

Motex EasiEst have launched a workshop management package, including an MoT diary, as an integrated part of our Bodyshop Management System, for businesses who undertake vehicle servicing as well as bodywork.

Up until now, this would have meant investing in separate bodyshop and workshop management systems, and the headache of running accounts and management reports from two systems.

To provide a “one stop” solution for these businesses, Motex EasiEst has included this package within their existing bodyshop management system, which allows both mechanical and body repairs to be managed from start to finish on one comprehensive and flexible system.

The new features include the ability to build up mechanical job cards (with free text or from your own picking list of service schedules), an MoT booking/diary system, DVLA type checks to retrieve vehicle information, job sheets with barcode time recording and invoicing. The new developments integrate with the existing Motex stock control system, as well as the accounts system, and also include an intelligent contact reminder facility to improve customer retention and repeat business.

By using one common system for body and mechanical, there is no need for retraining on a new system, no costly accountancy fees for merging two different system’s accounts, no need to run separate stock systems for each side of the business and no big investment in new software.

On the 10th Jun 2008 Adam Clancy spent the day at the VBRA offices, in Leeds, training VBRA area managers: John Barrett, John Moorcroft, and Jerry Braddock.

British Superbikes Motex was present at the Bennetts sponsored British Superbikes, held at Brands Hatch on the weekend of the 10th and 11th May 2008.

After being snowed off in April, the event was an excellent display of world class competitive racing and Motex would like to congratulate local Weston-super-Mare lad, Fraser Rogers, who came second in the MRO 125 Superteens.

www.vbra.co.uk Motex is pleased to confirm they have become a VBRA (Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association) supplier member. Area managers will be shown how the EasiEst system works 'live' during a demonstration in June 2008.

Together, Motex and the VBRA have worked out some favourable terms that now makes EasiEst even more attractive to VBRA members.

We are delighted that Honda have renewed their contracts with Motex.

Honda Honda use EasiEst and VIS-IT at their premises in Swindon and Avonmouth to control the movement and repair management of their vehicles. Honda HQ also utilises Motex software to obtain management reports on the status of their thousands of vehicles.

To save time and improve accuracy, you can use our United Kingdom wide post code search to look-up and retrieve the street name and town for any address you need to enter onto the EasiEst system.

This feature is available as an optional extra on our systems, and will attract an additional charge if you choose to use it.

CarWeb We have developed a link to the VRR CarWeb system, to automatically retrieve vehicle information from their on-line service, when you enter the registration number at the start of a job entry from within EasiEst.

This facility does require an extra subscription to CarWeb’s service, but it can save valuable time and incorporates all the relevant vehicle data direct into the job.
